About this show The push for One Design sail racing goes on and upward with more support after programs like the Helly Hensen Sailing World One Design Regatta visited Bayview Yacht Club this past week leaving a trail of success that will hopefully follow suit in 2026. We chatted with T10 skipper Trey Sheehan, of Hooligan Fame, and learned a little bit about the loving nature of the local Cal 25 fleet thanks to Paul and Ross Nuechterlein, who were fleet winners with a crew of sailors that included veteran national champions Ken Swetka and Ron Sherry. The crew will be headed to BVI in the fall as part of their successful campaign this past weekend. And if that wasn't enough sail maker and world-renowned racer Wally Cross stops by to talk about what to look for when purchasing a sail, and Abie McLaughlin spends some time discussing the idea she took up sailing in 2010 and was nominated for the 2025 Female Rolex Sailor of the Year two weeks ago.
