About this show INSIDE GREAT LAKES SAILING SEASON SIX SHOW NO. 146 - The GL-52 Series Finale was conducted this past weekend at Macatawa Bay Yacht Club with all the excitement and suspense one could muster in one of the best fleets in North America. When the waves were subdued, John Huhn's Katana was atop of the heap for the summer of 2025. We talked to John, his ability to attack top sail racing talent, including our interview with Denmark legend Martin Kirketerp, a gold medalist. Local sailing legend Peter Askew checks in with a second place finish on Wizard, while Heartbreaker's skipper Robert Hughes chats for a few moments about a strong and growing fleet. This show is entirely about the GL-52 finals and we just wanted to thank all those folks surrounding the organization that makes this show easier, so thank you and we look forward to a great 2026 summer, since the winter series in Pensacola is too far for us ski racers.
